Kanso Go is coming to iPhone and iPad. Its App Store page is reserved, but a release date is not yet confirmed. The website button is therefore labelled “Coming soon”.
What works offline?
Games, the local KataGo engine, tutorial and Kanso Focus work without internet or a Kanso account. Apple connections are needed to buy or restore Premium and to sync Premium highscores privately through iCloud.
Free or Premium?
Free includes 9×9 and 13×13, the 32-step tutorial, face-to-face play on one iPad, 15k/8k levels and one table combination. Premium adds 19×19, Focus beyond the tutorial, 3k/1d/Master and the full material library. One purchase, no subscription. Both versions are ad-free.
How do we play together?
Sit opposite each other at one iPad. Player information and referee messages face the appropriate seat. On iPhone, you can also enjoy playing and learning against the local AI.
What does Focus show?
A pinch gesture reveals promising legal moves to help you think. These hints are not win probabilities. Games using Focus are not eligible for highscores.
Restore Premium
Use purchase restoration with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. A connection to Apple is required. If it fails, tell us your device, iOS/iPadOS version and app version – never your password or payment details.
Highscores and iCloud
Free saves only on your device. Premium automatically syncs highscores in your private iCloud account when iCloud is available. There is no separate in-app sync switch or highscore delete button. Use Apple’s iCloud settings to disable app sync and manage iCloud app data. Delete the app to remove local data. See Privacy for details.
